ePoetics – corpus development and visualization of German poetics (1770-1960) for the ‘algorithmic criticism’ is a cooperational Project promoted by the federal ministry for education and research in the context of the eHumanities-Initiative from 01.02.2013 to 31.01.2016 by the University of Stuttgart and the Technical University of Darmstadt. It’s the studies goal to process a set of twenty German-language poetics from the period of 1770 to 1960 as a digital corpus and analyze as well as visualize it by means of information technological methods and hermeneutic procedures. Therefore interactive tools for analysis and visualization are being developed that may be adapted beyond the reach of the project in the field of Digital Humanities.
